Werner Herzog Sells Out

If Werner Herzog directed TV commercials, they probably wouldn't look very different from his films.



This is why I love surrealist film-making. Not only can anything happen at any given moment, but you can never tell how your mind decides to account for the images on screen.

This is one of the places I went while watching Werner Herzog's latest film tonight, My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done?


For further context, here are some of Herzog's comments from Les Blank's documentary, "Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe" or his 1970s feature film Even Dwarves Started Small.
